We hung pictures in the kitchen, finally! I've had these sitting around since-- get this-- our bridal shower three and a half years ago. Love love love these prints! It just sort of worked out that we painted the kitchen red and they matched perfectly in there :)
Daddy mocking Puppy. Puppy looking both perplexed and slightly indignant.
Furry little bear.
Furbaby at "Mum's" house. My parents have an awesome leather sectional that the dogs are very much not allowed on, much to Kermit's chagrin, but he always finds a way to position himself under the bridge our legs make between the couch and ottoman. Bonus points for when one of the knit blankets slips partly onto the floor and he can officially consider it a "bed" for him to lie on.
35 weeks. I've gotten so lazy about taking belly pictures.
Probably not intended to be shared, but this is a preview of my brother's amazing "80's Jogger" Halloween costume, and it needs to be shown to the world because it is just the best ever. He called me looking for advice on where to buy "neon spandex leggings." He called me... from a Marshalls. I think he is confused about what Marshalls sells, haha.
First snowstorm of the year! Technically we had snow two nights ago, but barely. This was taken a few hours ago, and though you can't see the flakes falling in this photo, it is starting to gather on the porch. How romantic :) also romantic-- the wood stove.
Today, I became obsessed with trying to find ways to cut our fuel costs this winter, because we have an oil tank and the heat gets muy expensivo. The wood stove has, today, cost us between $10-15 in wood, but we've had the thermostat on 65 all day and the temp has remained at 70 with the fire going. I cut it to 63 about half an hour ago and it feels about the same still. Plus we're on the second and third floors, so hopefully we'll get some of the heat from our tenants' apartment downstairs as well. Husband has taken to wearing flannel pajama pants to bed, and I'm considering a thermal blanket to layer under our comforter, so that could help us keep the heat low overnight, too. Just have to make sure the girls stay warm enough with lots of little layers and we'll be good.

Love all the pics! Your belly looks great! And I love your brothers costume. Enjoy the snow! I really miss wood fires - no need for them in Texas... :(
